A country located in the Balkans, in southeast Europe. It borders Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. For most of the 20th century, it was a part of Yugoslavia.
Most Serbian last names end on ‘ic.’ The lively Kolo is the traditional folk dance of Serbia. Its Derdap Gorge is Europe’s largest Gorge.
